As a young genius (not really), with epic skills in pretty much everything (again, not really), I will now share a very important hobby of mine. This hobby is crucial to my being as it pretty much makes up who I am as person...and that hobby is Fanfiction. Now, "What is fanfiction?", you may ask. What the Websites Specialize In

Fanfiction.net: Fanfiction.net is one of the largest Fanfiction sites in the world. Here, fanfics about movies, plays, videogames, books, and shows are posted. The age group of the writers on FF.net vary between which category (books, show, etc.) you read; if the show is for more mature audiences, the writers might be older (but not all the time). Certain types of Fanfiction stories are not allowed, such as fanfictions of Bands or celebrities, as well as works that have been asked by the creater to not be made into fanfiction. The biggest archive in Fanfiction.net is for Harry Potter (of course). FF.net is the place to go if you're looking for stories with good grammar, punctuation, and storyline as Fanfic authors here are pretty hardcore.

Wattpad: Wattpad is primarily a site for posting your own original stories; however, Fanfiction is written on this site very often. Unlike Fanfiction.net, Wattpad does allow stories about Bands and Celebrities. Wattpad writers range primarily between the ages of 11-17, so the writing quality isn't as good (but not all the time). Since a lot of little kids write on this site, you might not get the same quality of writing as someone with a mature mind and better writing skills. Wattpad also has more features than Fanfiction.net: sound effects and pictures can be added to each chapter of your story.

tumblr: tumblr is a site where you can pretty much post anything: book quotes, your own quotes, pictures, stories, fanfictions, and writing prompts. The Fanfiction primarily found in tumblr is called "role play", which is where you play one character in any show, movie, book, etc. and roleplay with other writers who play other characters. Role-playing can also be for original stories; however, most of them are based off of a show, book, or movie. The people on tumblr are usually 17+. More mature things can be found on this site. The writing quality of the writers is great as well.
